The Ripple Effect: Lifestyle for Impact

  • Sustainable Fashion

As part of its Annual Meeting, the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network is convening a series of events at UN Headquarters alongside New York Fashion Week to leverage this global moment for dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals.

As sustainability challenges become increasingly interconnected, the ways in which people live, create and experience culture play an important role in shaping innovation and collective action. From fashion and the arts to cultural spaces and sporting events, lifestyle has the power to influence behaviours and bring new ideas into the mainstream.

This event will bring together perspectives from across fashion, culture, sport and innovation to explore how the spaces and experiences that shape our lives can foster new perspectives, connect communities and contribute to a more sustainable future. The discussion will feature examples from Lagos Fashion Week, Messe Frankfurt, Rio Carnaval, New York Road Runners, Web Summit, and more.

Registration to attend in person has closed. Please join us online. Watch live on UN Web TV.
